Tineco Pure One S15 Review
The Tineco Pure One S15 is a user-friendly stick vacuum suitable for various usage scenarios.
Tineco recently introduced a new stick vacuum, the Tineco Pure One S15. This isn't the first Tineco I've tested; I previously reviewed the Tineco Pure One S11 (read my review here), which performed very well in the tests. I'm excited to test this new model from Tineco thoroughly. Let's begin with my in-depth review.
Design Tineco Pure One S15: Look & Feel
At first glance, the Tineco Pure One S15 is a beautiful vacuum cleaner. It is predominantly white, which makes it stand out. As is expected from a modern stick vacuum, it is cordless and bagless. The vacuum and the included accessories feel sturdy, with the emptying mechanism made of metal and the filter at the rear of the vacuum being magnetic.

Suction Performance Tineco Pure One S15
It is time to test the vacuum cleaner in terms of suction power. Like in all my other vacuum cleaner reviews, I test the suction power in kilopascals and the airflow in meters per second. While the test results may not seem to convey much, it's a way to compare vacuum cleaners in terms of suction power; this allows me to compile a list of the most powerful vacuum cleaners.
Suction power and AirFlow
I measured the suction power of the Tineco Pure One S15 at 10 kPa in normal mode and 18 kPa in turbo mode. This is closely comparable to the measurements during the Dyson V15 Detect review.

It's the same story when looking at the airflow. In normal mode, I measure 10.3 m/s, and in turbo mode, it's 15.8 m/s.

Cleaning performance of the Tineco Pure One S15
Numbers don't always tell the whole story. It's time to actually test the vacuum cleaner and see how well it performs on different types of floors. For this, I use floor bins with three different floor types: wooden floors, high-pile carpet, and low-pile carpet.
Floor test
The Tineco Pure One S15 comes with a motorized floor brush. The brush performs very well on low-pile carpet: it removes all dirt effectively, leaving virtually nothing behind in one vacuuming pass. The same holds true for high-pile carpets: it also effectively removes dirt on this floor type. On the wooden floor, it performs well too, although I notice that it tends to push some dirt forward a bit more quickly. However, this is only the case with larger debris.

Motorized floor brush with LED lighting
The Tineco Pure One S15 comes with a motorized floor brush, making it easy to remove pet hair. The brush is also equipped with LED lighting, which is very useful when vacuuming dark floors or in low-light conditions: dirt becomes much more visible, reducing the likelihood of overlooking anything.
iLoop technology: automatically adjusted suction power
A notable feature of the Tineco Pure One S15 is the iLoop technology. Thanks to this technology, the Tineco Pure One S15 automatically adjusts its suction power when needed. With an illuminating LED ring on the display, it is clearly visible when this happens: the blue ring turns pink when the suction power is increased.

You can also manually set the suction power to the maximum (turbo) mode. However, as always, Turbo mode on vacuum cleaners significantly negatively impacts the battery life.
Usability of this new Tineco vacuum
Battery Life: Below average
We're dealing with a cordless vacuum cleaner here. So, it operates with a battery. The Tineco Pure One S15 has a maximum battery life of about 40 minutes. This is a bit less than many other stick vacuums. The current average is about 60 minutes. And if you use the turbo mode? The battery lasts only 10 minutes, similar to the battery life I recorded during the Dyson V8 review. Imagine what the performance would be in 2 years of heavy usage.
One significant advantage is that it has a clickable battery. This allows you to quickly replace the battery with a fully charged one (if you have an extra battery) or when it needs replacement. For this vacuum, I would advise people to buy and use an extra battery.
Noise level: average for a cordless vacuum cleaner
When I test a cordless stick vacuum, I already know one thing for sure: it won't score high on the list of the best quiet vacuums. Cordless vacuums tend to make more noise, especially when they are bagless. This is also the case with the Tineco Pure One S15: I record a sound level of about 73 decibels. While this is certainly not quiet, it is a normal—and expected—noise level for a stick vacuum like this.

Weight: This is a light-weight vacuum cleaner.
Although the weight of vacuum cleaners is almost always stated on the packaging or in the product description, I always measure it myself. The vacuum cleaner is often weighed without accessories, while you often use it with them. If I look at the product page of the Tineco Pure One S15 on Amazon, a weight of 6.8 pounds is mentioned. Converted, this is 3.08 kilograms. I come to 2.98 kilograms in my weight measurement, corresponding to Tineco's product statements.
The vacuum feels light and vacuums flexibly. This is a significant advantage when you have to vacuum for a long time, have difficulty lifting, or want to use the vacuum on different floors in the home.
Maintenance
The Tineco Pure One S15 is very easy to empty. On the inside of the handle, you'll find a lever that you can easily push down, causing the flap at the bottom of the dustbin to open. The vacuum cleaner has two filters: a HEPA filter and a pre-filter. The pre-filter is washable.

About the price
The price range of this model is about ~$ 430 to ~ $ 499 at Amazon. At the time of writing, there is a (quite a good) discount active of -30% though, meaning the price on Amazon is at $ 349. The price level of this model is very good. And it's actually with this discount priced in: quite a cheap vacuum cleaner!
My final judgment for the s15 from Tineco
This is a well-designed new model from Tineco. A vacuum cleaner that would look great in modern houses / newly built houses. The white design stands out compared to other models. All performance is above average / quite good. Also, the suction power is good. The price level is very good, as you can read above. The battery life, however, is below average, especially compared to the newer Dyson V15 (which is 2.5 times the price!). If you buy an extra battery for this s15, you'll have one of the top vacuum cleaners at this time in your hands! Ps. If you are still unsure about this one, check out my S15 YouTube review.
Oh, and don't forget: don't use Turbo mode. (I rarely use it on stick vacuums.)
Conclusion Tineco Pure One S15 review
The Tineco Pure One S15 performs well on any type of floor and is suitable for various types of dirt. Thanks to the adjustable suction power, it cleans exceptionally well while also conserving battery. The vacuum is flexible and precise in its cleaning: it is lightweight, and the LED lighting allows you to see dirt on the floor clearly.
The price of the vacuum is around $400 on average, which is a considerable amount of money. However, in my opinion, it's worth every dollar, especially when compared to other vacuums with similar performance that can cost several hundred dollars more.
I would consider purchasing an additional battery, though. A 40-minute battery life (even 10 minutes in turbo mode) is on the shorter side.
